so, I hit 20K (almost 21K) steps on Wed and ever since, I feel like I need to match that but have been unable to. I average between 15-17K a day. I'm at 15,911 right now and it's 8pm. I'm exhausted. I walked around the house for 30 mins while the kids were eating lunch lol. I did my 1 hr workout during nap time, and then went for a walk with the kids after dinner that took about 35 mins in 90+ degree weather lol. (there was a lot of "get out of their yard." "Put that back", "Let's go!", "don't touch that!") My butt and legs hurt lol. I really want to just go lay in bed once I put the kids to bed, but I feel like I need to push for 20K. I don't know if I have 4000 left in me, though lol.

Many of us would be glad to get the 10K steps (4 miles) that many trainers consider a "good" day....You ARE doing GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my daily goal is to reach 10k by 2pm on days I work out (since I usually work out between 1-2 in the afternoon), and by 4pm on days I don't work out. Sometimes I'll just do laps around my house because so stinkin hot and humid here so I don't want to go outside til at least 7pm and even then it's still stinkin hot. So during my laps, I aim for about 2K steps. I've been trying to do evening walks either by myself so I can walk FAST or with the kids if I just need a few extra steps. But if I'm around 17K by dinner time, I feel like I HAVE to step it up and aim for 20K by the time I go to bed :-)
