Good morning, FS WARRIORS!!! 💜 ✨️ I was just spending some time going through my old profile when I lost 98 lbs. I thought I was soooo invincible when I hit my goal weight. It is SO HARD for me to revisit that. That sh!t food really showed me who was boss when I let it take back control...smh. Never again! Lady, Deb, Sugar Waffle, Erika, & Phil... words could never describe how much I appreciated you guys back then & now. 💜 You guys were/are my rock! I started a fast after the watermelon attack...lol. I will probably go through until Saturday morning when I start the BBB&E challenge. Anywhooo... Have a great day, ALL! 😘

Thanks, Deb! 😘 Off to the dietician in a bit 🙄, just to get my muscle mass checked to make sure I'm not losing too much muscle. I hope you have a beautiful day! 🙂

Would love to know by PM whether you lost muscle (medical stuff is private). I am curious for myself. We have been fasting about the same amount. My understanding is muscle loss is minimal. Anyway, good plan to start BBB&E Saturday! 🤜🤛

I do too remember those former times, and I'm also grateful for old FS friends to carry on with these days. We've had some setbacks, but we're not giving up. Strong comeback!

@Lady... Would you believe I drove all the way there (1 1/2 hour round trip), and they were completely closed. The first & last time I saw her was June 6th. I had an appointment for July 11th, but I couldn't remember what time it was. So I called the day before to make sure of the time & the secretary said she was just about to call me to reschedule because the system was down. She rescheduled me for today. Now, the note on the door says they aren't opening back up until 8/1. What kinda 💩 is that? 🤨

Wow. I wonder why they are closed so long. They better have a good reason 🤨 Anyway, I watched the Dr Tyna Moore vid that Erika recommended. I have way too little muscle mass. It's sobering. All of our exercising and weight lifting friends are right about one thing: strong muscles make one resilient metabolically. One of Moore's taglines is, "Be harder to kill." Muscle mass affects your ability to stave off viruses and chronic disease, and working out has profound mental health benefits. She says, "Truth is harsh sometimes. Is sucks, but I'd rather know it than not know it."

@Lady... Oh, yea. For sure! When I was lifting, at a size 4/5, lil Ole me felt like the hulk when I walked out of there. 🤣 It's kinda euphoric. I always said that if I could have done 1 thing differently back then, it would have been to start lifting earlier. Getting started back is one of my current goals. I'm going... I'm going...lol.

I couldn't find the link that Erika recommended. I'd this it? https://youtu.be/_ZtQRU__iC4 I whole heartily agree with Dr. Tyna. I know, personally, animal based LC + strength training is the way for me to feel 16 again from personal experience of trial & error. I may not have began strength training again yet, but I have been getting in LOTS more movement. I'm getting there. At least I can lift the 50 lb bags of dog food again...lol. Crazy that that alone had become impossible for me very quickly.
