Wedding anniversary today. Very fortunate.
Skipped the gym and power washed the front of the house instead. Still managed 8k steps walking the dog.
Staying below 1600 calories/ day but will hit the diet/ gym hard again on Monday. Seems like I only lose weight when i stay below 1200 calories and an hour at the gym.

Not all calories are equal. If you are eating the right balance of foods, your body will feel better and your gym workouts will naturally become more vigorous. Vigorous exercise leads to muscle gain, which allows your body to burn more calories. 1200 calories means that your metabolism is running a little slow. Exercise should pump up your metabolism.
