Sometimes you are the bird (eating like a) and sometimes you are the raging Tasmanian devil (eating everything in sight). I think from this most recent weigh in, we know which category I fall into.

Found a pear shape body workout -- going to give it a whirl. It suggested using heaviest weights. I went for 8lb dumbbells. Yeah, let's just say there is considerable room for improvement. Tomorrow I may not be able to lift my arms.....

Ever noticed if one thing is off balance in your life, you tend to teeter around till you can regain balance? Welcome to the teeter totter gone wild.....

Is it normal to place 8 16.9fl oz water bottles across the sofa to make sure one gets their water in? (Since I've failed considerably for about 2 weeks now... Coffee I have gotten it in, ginger ale I have gotten in, alcohol I have gotten in,....water? Not so much!)

Was so not pleased (nor overly shocked) upon weighing in this morning. God doesn't always answer your prayers.....

I say whatever works to get the water in, do it. We don't always have great weigh ins, great weeks, or even great months, but we can come back from them. You tried a new workout and you're trying something to help get your water in, so those are positives for today. Sometimes we have to answer our own prayers. You can do this!!

I try and eat the same kinds of food at the same times each day, and it generally helps me control the Tazzie Devil. My inner bird doesn't exist unfortunately - I think the Devil must have eaten that too! On the odd occasions when the Devil won't shut up, it gets fed, but only stuff that's on my 'okay to eat' list, and only about 300 calories worth (an extra sandwich, or an extra helping at dinner). After that, it goes to sleep again. Don't know if that's any help to you?
