I am having a hard time motivating today. I think rather than a regular workout I might swim today. I hope I get out of this little rut I am in soon. Any tips to stay motivated?

Have a routine and just do it, don't think about it too much. I think you are on the right track with changing WHAT you do because it's all good. I also think we can get too goal-oriented ("I'm going to weigh x amount on x date") instead of making permanent changes in our habits and let the body changes arrive at their own pace - because they will anyway.

Thanks for the advice, it is true about the routine any time I vary mine at all it throws me off. Changing habits really works too, I have been dropping one bad habit every couple of weeks and adding in new ones. For me doing it gradually has helped it stick more.

I do, I got it a few weeks ago and I love it, it really does challenge me to do more daily.
