2 days away working in an establishment used to house asylum seekers. Been bitten to pieces, currently sporting around 30 bite marks 😢 and am appalled at the treatment of these people. They're served their food on paper plates with plastic cutlery. Government funded, no compassion.

@bodders no fancy hotel, big screen TV, cars etc. Just frightened, traumatised people being given the very basics needed to survive, crammed into rooms with non relatives. Rooms full of damp, disrepair and bed bugs. It's played heavily on my heart and mind since I left there.
