Forgot to take the apple cake over to my parents last night so I ended up having a small piece when I got home. And I had a sudden craving for chips so I ate 10 chips and was good!! I think I'm going thru a carb craving thing and I know that if you try to ignore it, it just gets worse. So, I'm just trying to have a taste to satisfy the craving. Hopefully, I will get over this!

Hi Aggie, The one drawback of the Low Carb/High Fat (LCHF) regimen is universal. One chunk of high carb (and sweet) goodies can trigger a mad urge to devour more. I have found, however, if you resume the LCHF approach,on the following day, the cravings will stop and you usually it will not affect your weight. If you have been restricting carbs and are in ketosis, it would probably end that; however, in a few days that will stabilize also. The LCHF is the only diet (and I've had over 40 years experimenting), that totally eliminates hunger and most cravings. After the desired weight has been reached, you can gradually increase carbs and that weight can be maintained. I have never had any luck with reducing/counting calories, but LCHF works well and quickly.

I had some cade left over a while back and I froze it. It is still there but not sitting on the counter so I don't see it. And since I haven't had time to make cookies for hubby's lunch I had been sticking them in there. =)
