I also love deviled eggs! They are so very tasty 😋 I made some for Thanksgiving and all of them turned out looking perfect. Which I was initially very happy with I because I tried a new method of boiling my eggs. I always struggle to get the eggs perfect when I peel them. So when I tried this new method and had perfect peels on every egg I was very excited. Let me express that all eggs were eaten very quickly and no one actually noticed/commented on anything except for me. But personally I found the whites to be somewhat tougher than usual. This method states that you add oil to the water bring the water to a rapid boil then add the eggs and boil for exactly 12 minutes. I think in the future that I'll go back to my other method although I'm disappointed with my ex when they're not perfectly peeled I would rather the whites be more tender I feel that the product is better in the end. 😊 Glad you had a tasty breakfast 🍳.

I've found eggs peal easiest, and the white/yoke has a good texture for deviling, when taken out of the refrigerator early and allowed to reach room temperature before boiling from room temperature water. A quick ice water bath back down to a finger safe temperature makes them just right for pealing.

I cook my eggs for exactly 8 minutes before putting them in an ice bath. They’re perfect every time.
