It's been a rough start to the year and we're only 7 days in. My friend and colleague died on the 1st, her business partner had a meltdown over her death and closed the business on the 4th which means I won't be working the market today. I started a new and very challenging bed bug job on Thursday, a lovely elderly Bajan lady who has dementia whose husband is in temporary care until the bugs are gone. So, I'm doing 12 sleep in shifts for the next two weeks, commuting so that I can at least make candles and jewellery during the day, though it's a bit too cold to solder in my garage at the moment.
I'm going to have the day off tomorrow and spend the day with my client, do some housework for her and get her reminiscing. She has very little short term memory but remembers her nursing days. She's a beautiful soul, always ready with a smile. I think she's helping me as much as I'm helping her.
Not tracked calories since before Xmas, just trying to be mindful. Take care everyone. To those grieving, my heart is with you ♥ Jozz

I'm so sorry i am sure will cheer uo by going around and sèeing her. You make your candles (scented) and jewellery ( make a dog collar to keep me in check)

'm no believer too but their must be something i could have fallen dawn the stairs and hit my head instead of just breaking i received a warning to change my lifestyle?

2023 was horrendous for many people I know around, many had death in family and challenges if not in life - at work for sure. condolences to those grieving 😞
