Made a quick weekend trip to a surprise birthday party for hubby's cousin. To my MIL with us too. It was a 5 hour drive and the fall leaves are starting their beautiful show, so we enjoyed the trip. The hotel had eggs and sausage for breakfast which was such a surprise. Often times there is only Danish and cereal offered, which is out of the question for me. Had French onion soup and cobb salad at the party and passed on the cake. So a great day!
