Going to visit my friends in whose house I'm staying. They're both in assisted living now. Not sure she'll recognize me, though she did the last time I saw her. This is someone I love like a sister, to see her disappear into dementia breaks my heart.

It’s so hard, but it’s still her. I either with ALZ and dementia patients. I just sang and lived them. Music is the last thing to go. I wish you abd get the best. Thank you for being her friend even if she can’t say hello. 💜💖♥️❤️

Julia, interesting that you said that about music. On the day myother died, I sat beside her, held her hand and sang to her, every song that I could think of, for as long as I could.
