* These short ribs were loosely based on Gregory Peck‘s Sweet & Sour Short Ribs recipe thst my mom used to make and I really enjoyed. It calls for ketchup which I we don‘t have in the fridge so I had to make a quick version which worked. I did find a bottle of ketchup with an expiration date of Sep 2015 so decided to toss despite its "nuclear food“ status. All in all, it turned out great. 😋
