Decided not to do a water fast or a fat fast. Need to get my head into it more but still watching what I shove in my mouth so I'm ok. Avoiding the scale and staying in check, hoping next weigh in on 1/27 is 180 or less (yea, may need to do a 3 day fat fast for that outcome!). Thanks to all my buddies for all the support <3

You will do it!! You can do it, believe in yourself... and remember one pound at a time, that is what it is about. The scale doesnt matter feeling good about yourself and being healthy is what matters. I worked at Weight Watchers for many years and was very thin, I always told my members that its getting up in the morning and feeling confident and happy is what is important. Remember who you are on the inside and believe in yourself!!

By losing the weight by watching what you eat rather than fasting, you are creating those habits that will help you stay healthy and fit in the long run. You can do it!

i'm excited about the new challenge! --let me know how adding coconut oil to your diet goes. i bought some, but have yet to figure out how best to use it ...i keep wanting to cook thai food with it, but can't because would then want rice. do you just eat it straight? smoothie?

I actually used it in the pan for scrambled eggs and it was so much better than butter. No oily taste at oil. Its semi solid so it isn't completely broken down in my drinks but since it isn't oily and its healthy, its all good : )

I warm up the coconut oil til it is liquid and then use the blender to emulsify it into my smoothies.

coconut oil... my best friend.... it can be lip gloss, moisturizer (put it on after a shower when you are still wet), you can mix it with baking soda and peppermint oil and make a kick ass tooth paste, it's good for your hair, I hear it's a good lube, it's great for vegetables, smoothies, baking and basically most cooking.... but not Italian food... not that we need to worry about most of that lol... coconut can also be made into organic deodorant when mixed with baking soda, cornstarch and arrow root (little iffy on the arrow root... pretty sure that's it) and essential oils of your choice ... all this is better than lotions that are full of chemicals, fluoride that destroys your brain, and the craziness of vegitable, palm, and corn oils. remember what you put on your skin gets absorbed too.... that's why when I worked at a group home you always wear gloves when dispensing meds... don't want to get all loopy from holding pills you know?? this went on waaaay longer than I intended ha ha ha
