Hopefully they'll find out what caused the blood sugar to dip. I keep a container of vanilla Haagen Daz in the back of my freezer for one of my dogs that has idiopathic seizures. That causes BS to drop as well, and a teaspoon or two helps with recovery. Speedy recovery Marco.

Thanks Annisworkingonit! The vet said his glucose was low, hypoglycemia. He was in bad shape by the time I reached the vet. But they knew what to do and kept him all day. They saved his life and now Marco has a new vet!

Thanks Moko,Kat, Shirfleur, Michelle, Morticia, RN16, Windy Day, LunaRules, and CannJensen! Your good wishes and prayers are really appreciated. Marco needs to be more closely monitored and I will do whatever I need to. A nice $800 vet bill today. $200+ last week at my regular vet for a glucose curve and $2000 a couple months ago for dental work. But Marco is my boy and when I adopted him I promised to care for him for his whole life!

FRITZY only someone who loves furry family understands the depth of love for our furry family. Prayers you get answers that are manageable and Marco comes home soon healthy and well. Hubs and I are just like you. They have a home for life with us and we will do whatever is necessary to care for them for their whole lives. Furry little children. 🥰

Thanks YOH! I remember many years ago I had a cat whose back legs just stopped working all of a sudden. She couldn't walk and my vet referred me to a specialist who recommended a very expensive procedure/surgery that would possibly fix the issue. I remember thinking " well I have the home equity list he to pay for it. But they didn't even now if it would work. I asked the best question you can ever ask a vet "what would YOU do if she was your cat" He thought about it and said maybe try prednisone for a couple days first. So I did that and Molly was fine and the issue never happened agaij.

Fritzy its always hard to know what to do. I have used prayer so many times for clarity. Don’t always receive a clear cut answer tho. I read on your other post that beauty boy Marco nearly died. Bet your heart nearly stopped. He is way too magnificent looking to leave life this early. Prayers for smooth sailing now that you know what happened. Xoxo
