Wednesday, 14 September: Fifteen-minute abs workout at the gym with Warren, the instructor who knows how to wake up the burn, followed by 30-minute walk. The training programme calls for a 3 km walk in 30 minutes, so pushed it hard to end up with 3.6 km (2.2 miles) in 30 minutes (works out to 4.4 miles per hour - need to know this to log my exercise on mfs). Legs still sore from yesterday, but it seems I'm definitely getting stronger. And, if I'm not imagining it, the profile in the mirror is starting to look a little more sleek. I think. Maybe.
