Good news.
Lost 5 lbs. A1C went down to 6.0. Dr is pleased with my diabetes management.
Bad news.
My thyroid is enlarged. Blood tests indicate borderline hyperthyroidism. Dr recommended having my thyroid surgically removed.
Surgery does not have to be done right away, but Dr feels that sometime in my life, it needs to be taken care of.

Do they have you on any thyroid meds. I to suffer from hyperthyroidism and they tell me that I'm in the 5% group that are overweight. Nest week I will have RAI because they can't get mine to stop bouncing back and forth and that I have been on my meds to long that it can cause liver damage.
