Want2BFit's Notizen, 27 Jan 10

My body is so sore, but this is much easier than having to workout. I'm not sure which program I have on deck, but I have to mentally prepare for it. The past 3-4 days have been great with really sticking with my plan to eat cleaner, and I feel better and the scale is going down. It did a minor about face yesterday, but whatever that water or whatnot was was gone by this morning. I know I broke up with the scale, but I just like to track my progress sometimes :/. I had a meeting with my diet doctor I saw this summer and I was really excited about it. The last time I saw him was in June when I was desperate for a quick fix, ad while I did end up losing 30lbs, going there this time was so much better b/c I had something to offer him;my coaching services. I love helping people get fit, and he has tons of people like me, a good diet plan, but if you want to see lasting results you have to work out! The meeting went well, which was good, now all I have to do is follow-up.

One of the many great things about NYC is the walking. It wasn't that cold today, so I walked my little butt off going everywhere. I walked 80 blocks just to see one of my old Tiff & Co. co workers. She's actually interested in doing a program, so that's exciting. She's known me from when I was huge, I was @ my highest ever when I started that job fresh out of college, and by the time I left she had seen me down 60lbs. Its great to see her again, and 'look smaller' even tho the #'s are different. I've eaten a lot today, I should really start journaling my food, but I feel like it makes me neurotic and I hate that. I had a low carb turkey and cheese wrap for breakfast, Shakeology for a snack (less than 100 cals!), chicken shish kabob for lunch, 1.5 water, and Kashi protein/fiber bar which i must say are the most amazing things ever. I didn't care how many carbs are/were in them it's better than m+m's or snickers and all that walking put a dent in them. I even had some low carb pesto when I came home, but I used Dreamfields pasta and had a carb blocker so whatevs.
