Friday, 5/5/17 Steps = 20,820

Well, it was a good day for steps yesterday, but my first bad 'off the wagon' day for eating since January 1st! No need to go into the details other than to say I was celebrating my birthday and ate (and drank) more than I planned.

This is a worry for me. In my past life of yo-yo dieting, one bad day could start a downward spiral into completely giving up. So I'm a little wary.

On the other hand, I know a lot of you give yourselves a break once in awhile and it does't seem to interfere with your weight loss. If that turns out to be true for me, it would be great to know.

So today I hope to resume my usual plan. I have already walked 4 miles and plan to be on track food wise for the rest of the day. Weigh-in day is Wednesday. I really, really hope that I still have even a small loss. Theoretically, I will still have a good calorie deficit for the week. I would love to know I didn't lose a week of progress with one bad day...
