I was so confused when I was reading this because I didn't see any posts from a "Ryan"!! So whatever he said, obviously he realized that he was being a jerk.. at least that's a step in the right direction... ;) And Sarah, I'm so happy that you know that you are too special to just sleep around - good for you!! 

Thanks everyone for your kind words to me :). I respect myself too much to do that with a guy so early on...even if i really DID like him. Erika--basically what Ryan said was the only reason the guy wanted to sleep with me is because I am FAT and Fat girls are easier because they don't get as many chances to have sex as skinny girls. And went on to say IF I was offended, get used to it. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN? I've lost 100 pounds in the past 7 months, and I am still losing. Was he trying to say I will always be fat and I need to just get used to people calling me fat. He's a jerk Its all just a bunch of bull anyway. Some men actually PREFER women to be thicker believe it or not. ...I'm not GROSSLY fat, I'm 5'7, and I'm well-porportioned AND I get hit on a WHOLE lot of guys. I just don't understand why he would have left a comment like that... Anyway I am done ranting 

Oh GOSH Sarah I am so sorry for this a-hole experience. Regardless of this jerk experience, it's great that you maintained your dignity in the situation. Regardless of self-image, you obviously have very high standards are self-respect and the right guy will appreciate that. At least you found out what a creep this bum is on date 2, not date 20! Better off without!!! 

Who IS this Ryan person. If there's some dink on here making comments about girls - he better check the idea of this website. We are here to build up each other's confidence and willpower, not to tear people apart. And if he was speaking "for all men", he needs to realize that not EVERY man is an ass like himself. I happen to have a boyfriend who is independent, hardworking, and attractive and thinks I am beautiful the way I am and could care LESS about what my scale has to say about that. That man is out there for you, too!!!!!!! It was Marilyn Monroe that said "if you can't handle me at my worst, then you SURE AS HELL don't deserve me at my best" - stick to your guns and screw what any jerk has to say about that.  

Once cannot really say a person is nice from one date, as I am sure you know now. Good for you for standing up to him. 

Wow! Sorry I missed Ryan, it'd be nice to give him a piece of my mind. What a jerk. And your date doesn't deserve you. You're very right, not all guys want some tiny little stick. As my friend told me, "women should look like women." Be proud of yourself for having morals, be proud of your success, and be proud of your curves. You're worth it.  

Sarah - I'm guessing you get hit on WAY more than this 'Ryan' guy, and he's just pissed that a curvy girl is getting the chance to hook up when he's sitting at home with Rosy Palm.. :P Some guys just don't know how to properly vent their own frustration and he took it out on you - we should all feel sad for him that he's such a loser. ;) Hope you had a great weekend!
