amandilane's Notizen, 20 Jun 07

Well, I got up extra early this morning to get some homework done, and when I weighed myself, it looks like I added a pound. I followed the diet perfectly yesterday! :( Well, I'll do good today, and maybe try to get some excercise in, and see if that will help at all. (I refuse to record a weight gain!)

I feel the same way about recording any weight gain...but I find weighing daily helpful to remind myself not to over eat. I think recording your weight once a week is just perfect!

I'm the same way. I usually try to at least lose the weight I gained before I weigh in again. It's interesting that we both weighed ourselves too early on the same day. I'd be willing to bet that's what it is. I bet you have extra water weight in the morning.

Like merle, I find it useful to weigh myself daily. My weight varies within a three pound range *every day.* I'm lightest in the morning, heaviest right after dinner. I typically record the highest weight in my journal and I only record it once or twice a week. So, I don't get too freaked out by a pound difference here or there, but I do watch for the whole 3-pound range to shift.

i try not to weigh too frequently, it bothers me so much when my weight goes up and down a pound, even tho i KNOW its just water. and then other people like to weigh every day, so i guess its to each their own. i think weighing at a regular interval is a good way to keep track of whats going on tho, either way. anyhow, don't be bummed! just keep doing what you are, it will just be water, and that will be the easiest pound you'll ever lose ;)
