Morning all, today is our 4th of July potluck. So last night, I made Keto Blueberry cream cheese bars. I gotta tell you it was late and I ate a lot of "extra" little pieces that fell off the little squares I cut and plated. My sugars showed it this morning. Haven't had a high sugar in a while, but this morning was 159 - not good. I am determined to stay on plan no matter what is laid out today, I know there will be a lot of things I can't eat. I have to say, I'm in my 50's and work with "my kids" that are in their 20's. Two of them came over and told me they "checked" and the things they are bringing are Keto friendly. That surprised me and made me so happy, I'm not used to supportive people in my life (well except you guys :-). So, I am looking forward to a good party and a good 4th of July. It was pretty fun. Everyone seemed to love the Keto Blueberry bars they went real fast. They had shrimp from Costco and grilled chicken salad (that they didn't add anything but mayo, cause they new I could eat fat). Also a veggie tray. All and all it turned out well. Thanks for asking!
