Well, it was unusual day. I write these journal articles for me - I hope some of you find them helpful or at least mildly entertaining. But, I want to go back and look for my off days, triggers and how I handled them. The mind is afunny thing - rarely does it remember backwards with much accuracy.

So, I was tired most of the day - don't know why and not feeling very positive. When dinner time came, I had no interest in meat and veggies and even eggs seemed less appealing. I thought maybe I should just stop at McDonalds and load up for once out of these last three weeks. But, I said don't think binary: lo carb or stuff all u can eat.

So, I thought give me some good carbohydrates, And, I stopped at a restaurant that the best lentil soup. Oh my was that goooooood with hot sauce. Of course it knocked me over my carb limit. Also, I had 4 ( count em) saltine crackers.

I came home and went for my mile walk and 15 minutes into it the rain came pouring down. I loved it. It was hot and and a downpour. I laughed and thought how much I like to bicycle in the rain and it really improved my mood.

The takeaway: Don't think in binary if you have to do something different do it in degrees but not 90 degrees
