Slightly high cholesterol and weight now more than I ever have in my life. Changing habits is a must: More physical activity, healthier food choices, and portion control will be my strategy. I don't like diets, I find them too boring and restrictive. I don't agree with eliminating entire food groups (gluten, carbs, etc.) like some popular diets suggest. However, I know that eating more veggies is better than eating refined carbs. To me it is a matter of making better choices and limiting the intake of foods that are fattening and poor in fibre. I will strive to go to the gym at least 4 days per week and to take a walk on the days I don't go to the gym. Let's see if my good intentions translate into action and results!
