This is Day3 of my new diet. I guess right now it's the South Beach diet. I want to maybe extend the amount of time without carbs. I have been working out the past couple of days but last night was particularly frustrating. I had a meeting to go to at 6:30 and they always go late so I ran home to work out at my apartment gym. I only had 30 minutes to work out so I could hop in the shower and eat before I had to go. When I got there 2 cardio machines were broken and the others were being used. I had to go jogging in the cold and almost had an asthma attack. It was so frustrating. My workout wasn't the best so I really need to get in a good one tonight.
Sidenote: I'm drinking a lot of water but I'm really getting tired of having to go the bathroom every hour.

the going to the bathroom will slow down after another couple of days...and moving to phase 2 is important in helping you to adjust to the realities of normal living...my suggestion and that in the book is to move into phase 2 at the end of 2 weeks and when you find that point where you cannot control the urges move back to phase 1 for a little if necessary...but do not stay in phase 1 longer than necessary

Yep, keep up with the water, it's flushing out the bad stuff and pretty soon you will adapt. You NEED to drink a lot of water, our bodies NEED it!! You're doing great, keep it up!
