My home scale somehow never the same as the dr office scale but close enough I guess. Am I alone in thinking doctors have a warped perspective? Since I last saw this dr it's been 28 months. In that time I've lost about 65 lbs. that's approximately 2.5lbs per month average. This doctor (bless her) actually wrote in my report that I've had unusual and excessive weight loss. I don't know what to say. Would she be happy if I still weighed 240!!!

OMG! That is truly ... ummm .. what's the word I'm looking for .. ummm . oh, I got it, but I shouldn't disparage doctors. There doesn't seem anything excessive or unususal about losing .5-1lb/week when you are trying to. Did you ask her why she said such a (I won't say it) thing?

Excessive weight loss > excessive weight gain :)

I hope you corrected her. Seriously, that's ridiculous. Good for you though on the weight loss.

Same thing happened to partner, though with less time passed since previous visit. Doc kept fishing for something wrong, asked if they'd been trying to lose weight or if it "had just fallen off." WTF. "Oh you can be sure, I worked hard for every pound!" Probably doctors arent accustomed to seeing sustained success like yours. But expressing doubt isn't constructive either. :-/ Nice going on steady progress!
