I have been on vacation in Colorado for nine days I took food and ate on track and was able to lose 1 lb. Now I have one week before I go in for my second knee replacement surgery. I have to cook and freeze at least two weeks of meals because my husband doesn't cook. I hope the hospital will let me eat a high protein diet. Last time they put me on what they called a low carb diet but it was nothing compared to my 20 or less carbs a day. I am sure I will gain some water weight but I am hoping to lose it fast and get back to my routine quicker than the last one!!!!

Anyone around who would bring you food you'd prefer? This is something I would happily do for a stranger (I live a short walk from a hospital), though they'd have to live with repetition or give me ideas for things I could eat, too. Used to be in a bartering "bank" and loved the efficiency of sharing practical support and channel for stating need without putting anyone in position of having to say no.
