12:43pm - I finished lunch a little over an hour ago. I've decided that veggies with russet potatoes is not as appetizing as veggies and brown rice. I think veggies will go better with sweet purple potatoes or sweet potatoes. Anyhow, lesson learned. I did turn off the screen to my computer when I started eating so that's a pretty big accomplishment for today. After the meal, I went to the local market to pick up some plain whole milk yogurt. I'm not sure which one I'd like - I heard a lot of good things about greek yogurt but the store didn't have it in the small containers. I don't want to pay for a tub of it to discover I don't like it at all. Anyhow, I'm going to try having the yogurt with some fresh papaya as my afternoon snack if hunger strikes. I was tempted to eat it now because I thought I was hungry. Instead, I drank some water and the hunger went away. If it comes back, then that's a sign that my stomach wasn't too pleased with my veggies - potato dish with chopped ham.
