Throughout my adult life I have always struggled with weight. About 4 years ago I got down to less than 170 and was proudly wearing a size 10 and loving my body for the first time in years. Then some life events happened and I quit smoking, best decision ever, it will be 2 years next month. Now a few months ago I stepped on the scale and it read 238 pounds and I cried, even though I knew I was gaining I didn't want to admit I had gained almost 70 pounds. Well that was a wake up call. I am now down slightly to 221 and I am glad I found a place to hold myself accountable with what foods I eat and what exercise I am doing. I also hope to have a few buddies to help prop me up along the way, because I know I will falter from time to time.
