Stressful week with late work hours and no gym time. Will be back on track next week so hope to see a jump then. At least it wasn't a gain.

Went out of town last weekend and hadn't been in the routine to weigh in again on Friday. Went to a SF Giants ballgame in San Francisco and ate some not so good food so didn't want to weigh in when I got home. However, we got a lot of walking in (walked from Union Square to AT&T Park). Feeling good this week though and ready to see what the results are on Friday. I have quite a few difficult weekends coming up (camping at the lake this weekend) so need to stay focused and keep up with good food choices and exercise.

Well, been back a week and said I'd weigh in today. Even though I've seen this number, it's hard to actually write it down and admit it to all of you here when I was doing so well before. Feels like a failure. So I've gained. I need to look at what I've lost and what I did before. I haven't gone up in sizes so that's a plus - but it's close which is one of the things that finally got my attention. I think I've learned I need to be more "present" even when doing well. I have learned I do well when logging my food,weighing in at least weekly to stay accountable, and exercising (which I actually love doing - just need to take the time). I know this is a safe place with no judging. I'm back and taking the time again for me. This is just under the weight where I was at last year and I remember feeling so good so I'm ready!

Off for a long hike with BFF today. We've hiked this the past two years and it's a good one. Takes approx 5 hours. We are riding chair lifts up a ski resort mountain and then hiking down. The hard part is the terrain - plus we follow the disc golf course which makes you hike up and down, back and forth. Should be a great day!! Taking along some healthy snacks for lunch and plenty of water and sunscreen.
