What's the damned point? I have mostly remained faithful to this crap and weigh more than when I started? What's the damned point?

Well, it's the weekend and I am trying very hard to be faithful! It's tough because I eat when I am bored. So I am trying to keep busy. I also really like to drink on the weekends, so I have to be careful of that. Changing one's lifestyle is TOUGH!

OMG! A LOSS! I am SO happy! It's 2.2 pounds, but it's my first loss in months!!! I credit the tools and support I am getting through Fat Secret!!!
I'm quite proud of myself for sticking with this. I make my own lunch so I can easily control what I am eating. I've replaced junk food with raw veggies, Triscuits and 100-calorie packs. I've started eating breakfast. I feel great! I am sleeping better and have more energy during the day. My foot is feeling mostly better so I can resume my walking challenge next week.
Seeing results for the first time is a huge motivator for me. Can't wait for next week's weigh-in!

Well, no cardio-walking for me for another week at least. Achilles Tendonitis. I was focused SO MUCH on how badly I wanted to lose the weight that I worked out too hard and ignored the signals that I was injuring myself. Mostly the foot feels okay if I am walking normally, but if I try to move quickly it feels stiff and achy. I'll probably try to walk for 30 minutes at my normal pace, but I'm not sure how well that'll work out.
I am really proud of myself right now. I am eating better, eating less, and feeling great. I am sure I will see a loss when I weigh in tomorrow morning!

No more fooling around! Yesterday I got back on the wagon. I made good food choices and was even able to "reward" myself with some hard cider at the end of the day. Today is going just as well. I have had breakfast and lunch with no snacking in between meals. I haven't needed to! With eating foods that are better for me and eating more slowly, I don't feel hungry all the time. AND I am keeping up with my first challenge and have been walking my 30 minutes a day. The tools here are great. I find I am using them and I think it is helping me. I want to reach my goal of 50 pounds lost by February. Right now I am focusing on my first 25 pounds. Here's hoping...
