So, I maintained - halelujah!!
April 23 I leave for a trip to Alabama for a reunion. Those black jeans just will not button, but the hip and thigh fit is good. Thankfully, daylight savings time is right around the corner which means I can get out early and walk my neighborhood. Come on warmer weather!!

My brain set is not condusive to losing weight at this time. Cannot seem to get the momentum going to stay on program for more than two days a week. I berate myself constantly - and even those 'small' clothes hanging in my closet only depresses me more.
A friend in Philadelphia said "just eat healthy foods" and I'm trying to do that without counting and writing down every morsel that goes in my mouth. But hey, we all know... counting and writing is the road to success in weight loss.
Sorry to say, I'm on a real low right now and it's only because of the weight gain.

I don't know what's wrong with me and my eating habits lately. I've gained so much weight. My clothes are so tight! Yesterday, I started on program and hopfully I'll get back down to 150 lbs. and stay there. At my age, that's plenty slim enough!

I have not followed program as closely as I should. Like my buddy, Westgal, I cannot seem to control my night time eating. I am going to Curves and that has helped my mental state if nothing else. Next week will be especially tough... I'm crusing to the Caribbean for six days. I had wanted to lose at least 10 lbs. before leaving, but it's my own fault that I did not. My pants are tight around the waist and that really disturbs me, but I am NOT buying new clothes!! I'll lose the 10 lbs. for sure however long it takes!
My brother joined WW May, 2006 and has reached goal weight having lost 77 lbs. My daughter joined WW last January (secretly) and has lost 40 lbs. with 10 to reach goal. I'd like to think my efforts in losing 57 lbs. inspired my loved ones to make the same decision. I cannot and will not dissapoint them.
HAVE A MOST BLESSED CHRISTMAS!!

Today 10-17-07 I'm 13 lbs. above my goal weight of 140. I've been a member of Weight Watchers since 1978 having lost 91 lbs. and becoming a life time member. I've gained and lost several times since 1979. At my tender age of 64 I decided I was sick and tired of taking pills every night for sugar, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I quick taking the pills and went back to Weight Watchers on January 24, 2006. I reached WW goal weight of 150 on August 15,2006. I went on to lose another 10 lbs.
Problem? May, 2007 as a closet smoker, I quit smoking completely. My appetite is ferocious and I need some encouraging words to help get these 13 lbs. off for good. I'm cruising December 3 and I know my clothes want fit if I keep this up.
