I have been craving carbs all morning! this sucks! I'm waiting to hear the results from an online art competition and I am SO nervous/excited! I think I have a fair shot at the big prize but you never know. It would mean so much to me emotionally to get the validation. I think that's what I miss the most now that my kids are older and I feel I really should be out in the workforce but instead I'm at home 'playing' at being an artist. It makes me want to go into the kitchen right now!!! A latte and something to soothe myself. I came here instead. I don't want to self medicate with food treats!!!! I've looked over a few of your threads and feel I can hold out another few hours until dinner. I'm going to play on the computer and try out a new avatar! see ya'

I figured there'd be no change in weight but I'm happy because it's that time when I usually bloat up like a puffer fish and get all cranky but the walking I've been doing has made me less miserable. Lots of housework to do this weekend. Lunch out tomorrow with the family. We're going for Dim Sum which is notoriously packed with sodium and fats so I'll have to really watch. But it's so good! I'll just pick out the best of the best and stick to that! Hope you guys are all well. Cheers.

Walked 5 miles to Starbucks with my sister and her two huge dogs today. That was an experience! Had a 1% latte. Snacked waaaayyyy too much when I got home. Tomorrow morning I need to get up early but I'm going to weigh in even though I think I'm not going to be pleased. I did buy some new jeans the other day and they look pretty good so that's encouraging. The walking is doing tons of good for my butt. I hope I can keep it up!

No change in weight but feeling good about the exercise I've finally added to my program. I actually feel like going outside and doing some heavy yard cleanup! The extra energy is great.

I walked again today, about 5 to 6 miles, really fast with some uphill moments. It feels wonderfu. That makes Friday and Sunday so maybe every other day is good. I really need better shoes, though. Ate well today, too. I need a walking partner to make it perfect. An iPod even. Hope everyone had a good weekend and is ready for the week to come. bye.
