Went out to eat for dinner tonight for my birthday...I was reasonably good. Had a wonderful roasted vegetable parmasean with penne and ate very little of the pasta. I did have 1/2 a dessert though...sigh, I was so good for two days. I do have to try and shed the 3lb gain that the scale is showing from my carb orgy in Disney! Thursday my daughter is taking my husband and I out (again) for our birthdays. I am determined to eat very healthy for the rest of the week. It seems silly but I know I didn't put on real "fat" mostly water weight but I feel like I've gained 100lbs. I need to be back to my fighting weight of at least 147. That seems to be where I'm most comfortable at.

Had a good day today, so far. Ate healthy...I was afraid to get on the scale this morning after the bad 4 days on vacation. Will do it tomorrow. It's my birthday...no cake...sigh!

Well, back from 4 days at Disney! I didn't think about eating healthy, I just thought about having a great time with my grandson! We had a terrific time and I probably gained a few pounds but it was worth it! Back in the saddle tomorrow to get back to my fighting weight!

That water weight is gone...will be leaving for Disney at the lower range, but I'm terrified what the scale will show when I get back. All the walking should help and the resort we are staying at has a fitness center. I will try to be careful, but those buffets will be my downfall...
It can't be any worse than the 10 days on my cruise, and I will do ALOT more walking!

Went to MOJO's for sushi last night. It was really delicious. First time I'd every had authentic sushi. I thought it would taste kinda fishy but it was really wonderful. Except for the rice, and there isn't a whole lot of that, it's really relatively low cal since the fish doesn't have a lot of calories and it's good for you in Omega-3's. I also had a bowl of miso soup which I was terrified to try but that was great also! I really have to watch those carbs though because they do make my scale look very unfriendly since they seen to retain water for me. When I got on the scale this morning I was 3lbs up from yesterday, which is not weight gain but water weight. It's still very disheartening to see those numbers. I keep telling myself I have to keep those numbers in perspective, but it's hard.
