Hi everyone!! Hope you all had a safe and hapy 4th of July! I was out all over the place since last Thursday and wasn't able to make it on here.. may take me a while to catch up! I had my neurologist appointment this morning.. not sure if I like him - didn't really listen to me. we will see. The good news (kinda) is the scale read the same as my last weigh in. I still have a couple days til the next, but I didn't really track over the last 4 days. I just picked at things a little on the 4th - nothing seemed good to me...and the party on the 5th we did kabobs..so lots of protein and veggies and my awesome lil sister made a raw vegan chocolate mousse with lemon cashew cream pie. SO GOOD AND SO GOOD FOR YOU! So I am truly sorry if I seemed out of touch...but sincerely hope everyone is doing well!!

Well I am pleased with my continued weight loss! May not be tons of weight loss at a time, but its been steady and I am finally ok with letting it take its time and work my way down. Ohhhh.. but 4th of July is Friday!! lol. I am going to make the chicken kabobs (and add lots of veggies) and will let myself enjoy but be conscience of my eating. I will say...I haven't had a migraine in about a WEEK!! I don't know if its cutting out almost all my dairy, cutting back on processed sugars or ensuring I get some sleep by taking my anxiety medicine before I go to bed... either way.. I am continuing with all three. I feel like a person again!! This is my Friday for a 4 day weekend!! Hope everyone has a beautiful day!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! It still amazes me what people do that they think is funny when it truly is not. For instance, I was at my nephew's jr. blackbelt ceremony, sitting in a chair and said to a family member next to me that I felt my butt was muffin topping out of the metal folding chair I was sitting in. The family member behind asked if I wanted her to take a picture which of course I replied ABSOLUTELY NOT!! well needless to say, she took it anyway and text it to me. I was horrified to say the least. She had just told me how she was just crying a couple weeks ago because her weight jumped back up. I never said anything demeaning - only encouraging... yet she thought this horrible picture of me from the back in this little metal folding chair was hysterical. Some people just have to be like that I guess...so I have let it roll to an extent, but it still bothers me. Anyways, I have changed my eating habits.. I am overweight but at least becoming a healthier overweight and will lose what I need to...and I know that because I have changed my lifestyle with food, when I get to the weight I need to be at.. I WILL maintain because the way I am eating isn't a diet anymore.. its my way.
Guess I needed to vent. lol Hope everyone has a wonderful day :)

Good morning FS! Hopefully today will be my 3rd day without a migraine (nearly unheard of!!) I took ONE excedrin this morning bc I could kinda feel it..but I feel fine now. Just want to thank everyone on here. It is such a positive place and everyone provides such great support and tips! I am actually craving my veggie sandwhich I have been eating for lunch the past couple of days! who would have EVER thought! I had a sudden and killer craving for chocolate yesterday and someone brought me a king size hershey's bar. I DID have a piece..and then gave the rest away (I had to or I would have eaten it! lol) but was satisfied and didn't feel guilty like when I would usually devour the entire bar. I am just happy that my eating habits have totally changed from what they used to be. Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Well i knew that I wasn't sticking to things as I should have having my migraines all week, but hoping to take the tips I got yesterday and prepare and freeze some meals for when I can't really function. At least when I was feeling ok (or at work) what I ate was extrememly healthy. I am not worrying about the scale too much right now (I do want to get a tape measure) I am focused on what I am eating and how much healthier I am becoming... I figure that alone is the 1st best step I can take. :) Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!
