I actually started on Monday,9/02/13, weighing in at 249, and weighed in today, 9/07/13, at 242 lbs. lost 7 lbs in 5 days.

Wow, my last entry here was in 2011. It is now 9/7/13. I have gone back home to CT...then back to florida, and heavier than ever, of course. At 56 yrs old and still struggling with the same ordeal... obesity.
Not going to dwell on the upset of it since the damage is done and the only thing left is to work at getting healthy. To date I am up in weight from eating uncaringly when I went to CT, enjoying all the delicious food from family and restaurants. Now Im back in florida and going to try to get control of my life yet again.
So here goes...last I posted my weight here I was at 229 lbs. On Monday night (9/02/13) I decided to go on the Atkins site and sign up for the program. Weighed myself at 249 lbs, yikes...but Im gonna face this reality with strength. So on Tuesday the 3rd of Sept. I started eating low carb again cause I know this works...it's worked before for me and I will make it work for me again now.
It is Saturday, 9/07/13, and I decided to step on the scale this morning, even though I did not want to weigh in until after the first 2 wks...it's done and to my surprise Im already down to 242 lbs! yeey me for sticking to it for these 4 days so far. In 4 days I lost 7 lbs!. I know it's all water in the beginning, I'll take it. I will find a tracker and get going.
