I weighed myself today and although I was lower I was still unhappy. I’m so much smaller than I used to be but am having much more issues with my self image. Why is it that I was more confident in my body when I was bigger?

Well. Today is the first day of my fitness journey. A little background on me - I have weight in the upper 170s for as long as I can remember. I became very depressed when my ex boyfriend and I broke up and lost about 30 pounds in 2 months bringing me to a steady 150. I’m much happier now, and got a grip on my depression. Unfortunately, the weight is coming back. I weigh 160 now most days and now more than ever I’m struggling with comparing myself to other girls (must be all the summer bikini pics on Instagram). I just graduated from the university of Mississippi (hotty toddy) and figured there is no better time than now to learn to love my body, and work to get the body I can love.
I’ve always wanted to have a fitness journal, something public so I feel accountable to something, but I’ve never felt comfortable doing it on any platform u til I found this app. My goal weight is 130, and I’m hoping I can get there with the support of others!!
