UPDATE:2012
It's been 4 years since I started Atkins induction. During induction I pretty much stuck to foods I knew didn't have any carbs because I didn't want to bother with counting carbs. (meats, cheese, eggs, fish, etc) After about 10 days I felt wonderful, and looked like I lost 20 lbs! So, I started researching carbs, wondering if I had to ever eat them again. I learned I didn't and in fact the human body thrives on just protein and fat. That is what I have been eating for 4 years, animal foods only (Zero Carb). Eliminating carbs from my diet changed my life. I look and feel better than ever. As long as I stay away from carbs, I don't gain weight or get sick, I love it! Life is good!

I finally hit a plateau, but I expected too. 9lbs in 3 weeks is a lot. I am losing inches, because my clothes are fitting looser and I'm still in ketosis, so I feel great! I'm not missing any carbs, but I had the weirdest dream the other night. I was at a dessert buffet trying to talk myself out of having a bite of something! I actually didn't eat anything in my dream, but what I thought was so weird is I don't like sweets, I rarely ever have a dessert because sugar makes me sick and if I do it's just a few bites. Now if it was a pizza buffet, I would have been in trouble! LOL!
