Still holding steady although I don't think I've been holding steady on my 1400 kcal diet plan. My period is late (not pregnant) and I'm having trouble holding out against the cravings. I'll say that I'm not going to eat something and next thing I know I'm on the last bite - wasn't hungry before, still wanting more afterwards. Maybe I'll lose enough to be under 200 in February. I need to exercise, but with the side job and basement remodel, when is that going to happen? I'll find time.

The great news of the week is that my blood pressure is back in normal range: 112/60. I do know how it got so high last year, just like I know how my weight got so high too. But, I'd like to say that I have no idea how it happened. Hint: too many french fries and too many chips.
All of my concoctions to keep things moving are working. Just a little more to go and I'm out of the 200s. My sinuses are feeling better although I deal with pressure in my face and ringing ears all day. Plus my yeast infection is clearing up too. Without notice, the inner thigh cyst decided to start shrinking too but I hate that its leaving an area of very thin skin. I've had one of those before and it took so long for it to heal right.

Getting rid of waste in your body is essential, and I had a hard time getting going this week. Additionally, had a sinus infection and that discomfort drives me to take solace in eating. Didn't eat too bad, but there was a lot of eating out Thursday - Sunday. Taking magnesium supplement to get me going again and its already effective. Questioning the effects of daily ACV. I seem to be breaking out easily, I have a cyst on my inner thigh that has gotten bigger and bigger and not responding to normal tea tree oil treatments (that's going to leave a mark), I might have developed a yeast infection (taking AZO for that).
After all of that, I still feel smaller.
Oh, the body...it's so fickle.

I just can't believe that I'm losing weight without strenuous exercise. I am looking forward to hitting the pavement again, but I need to get out there and earn some extra money to replenish my car, vacation, and house savings. Can I just tell you how grateful I am to have had the money to fix an emergency car repair, still go on vacation, and start my home repair? Wow.
I am also very happy to get back to a routine. I went to the farmer's market Saturday and created a meal plan Sunday. They are all basically two-item meals that should take and hour to prep, cook, and eat. Last night was plantains and brussel sprouts. Tonight is okra and rice.
So easy to be vegan!

I can't believe that I'm finally putting in a lower number than when I restarted my fitness goals back in September! I initially gained 3 pounds as soon as I started working out, and for the past 3 months I have been losing and gaining the same three pounds.
On a whim, I decided to join a friend on her doctor-recommended diet of 1400 calories daily. She told me about this when we were in Mexico, and during our vacation I noticed how little we ate and figured it was worth a try.
In my opinion, a 1400 calorie diet is a starvation diet. So, I'm looking at it as a fast.
Another thing I noticed while in Mexico is that we rarely ate breakfast on time. We're not resort people, we like to get in the car and explore. On most days, we'd set out planning to stop by a cafe and grab a coffee and a pastry or something. However, we'd forget about it and it would be about 1230 or 1 before we ate anything.
I thought...that's technically skipping breakfast. Isn't that bad? Well, I didn't really feel bad. Also, I calculated that I was eating 200-400 calories less each day because we rarely had breakfast. Shoot we barely had lunch. I know one day I wasn't feeling well and I had the tomato and cucumber off of my salad, maybe 4 chips, and two bites of rice all day. We always had dinner, though.
I lost weight while in Mexico...about 3 pounds. Thanks, stomach bug! But, my weight is still going down. I may see onederland by the end of this month. I can't believe I actually said that, I've never stayed over 200 pounds for more than a month. And, now it's been the better part of a year. Oh well, time to leave and never come back.
I don't know how long I'm going to stay under 1400 calories. I've finally gotten in control of the craving to eat every 5 seconds. They're not mastered though, those cravings are little monsters. But there are craving on every diet to master. So, cheers to this one.
