What a cheat day, up 5 lbs to 214.4!

Yesterday was my boys birthday. We had a very nice party/BBQ and at like fools. The steaks were delicious! So was the 2 pieces of carrot cake, and associated sundries. It turned out to be a really nice party even without the beer. He had a great time, and so did the other kids, and thats what yesterday was about.

About that 5 lbs, I am sure it will drop quick. Some of it may drop really quick, know what I am sayin'. I have felt stuffed and ill all night, like I ate too much at Golden Corral! Again, all for the kids.... sigh.

I am working a Sunday which is a normal workday here in Hell, but alas I am usually off. We work 4-10 hour days and my days are usually Mon-Thurs, but when one of us is on leave we work what we call a bitch shift. So I am off tomorrow or another weekday of my choosing. Its sort of nice except for your weekend being busted up.

Anyway, Tomorrow I get to ride my bike, and the wind forecast is good!! So maybe a 25 miler, who knows. Scared to try that on a non-cheat day. Burning 2500 calories and then eating only 1500 is tough mentally and physically.

I am still soo pissed off about my company waving a good job in a nice place and then pulling it after yanking my chain a week. Grrr! I need to move on.

Sometimes when I am pissed and or depressed I cling to my weight loss journey like a teddy bear. Better than feeding your sorrows I reckon'
