Ok so I did it - I "fasted" for 45 hours and even when it was over I still had a very low calorie dinner so was still under 600 calories for yesterday (the day it was over). I only lost a little over a pound - was hoping for more BUT I made it under the 130 mark which I haven't seen for awhile. Now the question is will I still be under 130 tomorrow after eating normally today???? I'm not confident I will and that makes me wonder if the fast was worth it. But, before I throw intermittent fasting out the window I intend to do it again Monday (last meal Sunday night and go until Tuesday dinner). I wasn't that hungry during the fast and when the hunger got bad a very small less than 100 calorie snack wiped it right away. I didn't log it but I did drink several cups of no sodium chicken broth/stock. The warmth made my tummy feel good and it took away the hungry feeling.

I realize that I am not eating enough calories right now but I am desperately trying to get down to 125 lbs by April 15th. Then I will ease up and ease back into a more regular diet. I am a VERY healthy eater. I genuinely do not like cake, cookies, ice cream. I would have a piece of baked fish for dessert before I would have a piece of pie. My problem is the QUANTITY of food. I LOVE vegetables and can eat my weight in them daily but cows, elephants and hippos (for the most part) are vegetarians too so too much of anything is too much!! LOL
