I feel like a very small yo-yo. I'm going to try fasting for 24 hours after dinner tonight to see if I can shake this loose.
Ok, so two dates this weekend, the first with a 62 year old man, who on paper looks great, he's nice looking (for an older guy), financially secure, likes to travel and snorkel and scuba, has an RV and likes to go on road trips, has a Harley, a nice family, a really stable guy. You know how I know all that? HE TOLD ME. For 2 1/2 hours he talked about himself, with no curiosity about me whatsoever. He wants to date me, but the only reason I can see why is that he likes the way I look. He knows nothing about me. No thank you.
Date number two was 22 years younger than date number one! I thought I could do it, that 40 is old enough for me, but I don't think it is. Or just maybe it's the man himself, we don't have very much in common. I am willing to give him another try, just for fun, though. I have women friends that age and younger, I wonder why it is different with a man?
Anyway, losing weight has opened up a world of variety that I've never had. My hope is to find the man of my dreams, my last relationship to take me into my old age. Being thinner has given me more choices.
