So while i at less than my RDI I didnt meet my 1700 goal. But I drank lots of water. But then I felt sick all night. blah cannot keep doing this at work.. :(

Posting this here instead of on your last journal. If you used to get cramps in your calf alot & you're starting to get them again, it'd be good to take potassium & magnesium phosphate supplements. I lived w/ excruciating cramps in my calves throughout HS & never did anything about them except eat bananas here & there. Then they stopped but in '06 I started getting even worse leg cramps not only in my calves but shins, & thighs that would last up to 45mins!! It was crazy. Part of it was that my water intake was between 120-150oz/day. Drinking alot of water can flush out the electrolytes your muscles need to function properly. So I've been taking potassium & magnesium phosphate ever since & when I'm religious about it, I don't have problems at all. Plus there's no calories or sugar in these concentrated supplements which is a bonus you can't get from Gatorade or bananas. = )

Hey girl... I recently read that leg cramping can also be associated with having a too low sodium level in your body. I'm not sure this very common unless you are following a low carb diet though. Also, the Ketostix are only useful if you are doing a low carb plan, if not they are a waste of money because you cant get into ketosis while eating a regular diet like WW. I got mine at Walmart with the diabetic supplies. They were about $5 for 50 stix. Also,.... Leg cramps can be associated with Restless Leg Syndrom. Hope you figure out what it is and find some relief! (Still waiting to see a picture of the coat : ) )
