So, I guess that eating house-made grilled pita with roasted garlic chickpea spread, crab cake eggs benedict, and Godiva seasalt dark chocolate can cause some weight gain. Glad I brought my scale to Seattle, my little weekend food party is over. But it sure was fun! It's strictly seafood from here on out, carbs are going bye-bye. And I'm not drinking the rest of the week, so that should certainly help. I love this city so much. Walking through Pike Place Market with beautiful fresh fruit stands, every fish you can imagine, and huge bouquets of flowers for $10; shopping in Nordstrom; breakfast on the waterfront; the best coffee in the world, and all with one of my oldest and best friends who I haven't seen in 5 years. Me happy!
Today is wide open to do whatever I want to do. My friend went back home, my coworkers will not be here until tonight. I'm going to find a museum to visit, I heard the new library is wonderful, maybe go up in the Space Needle, or take a ferry to Bainbridge island. Right now Cat Stevens and I are enjoying some coffee in bed.
I've talked to Mr. Amazing every day, he took me to the airport early Saturday morning. He even got to my house 15 minutes before the time I asked him to, so I didn't have to stress about being late. Could this be the start of something? I'm trying really hard not to go to relationship fantasyland, but it's hard not to go there. I had a dream about him last night. I rarely remember dreams, but this one I do. It was only a minute or so, but I remember it clearly. And that's all I'm saying about that :-)
