Everything was fine, and yet, I decided to indulge. Lots of snow, and got snowed in,so decided to treat myself to some junkfoodtherapy. Hence, 1 can of fatfree pringles, 2 desserts (1 cupcake and a scone), and breakfast of scrambled eggs/cheese/veggies/mock meat constituted my meals for the day.
I didn't workout.
Felt terrible, and decided to get serious--finally!!!! My best friend and I have decided to start a new focus and plan as of tomorrow. Two months of serious dedication. Quit this half-assed effort, and get real!!!
Thursday, Jan 29: NEW PLAN: Under 20 carbs, and Exercise daily!!
Weight didn't gain despite the salt-attack and high carbs from yesterday's junk food/ no exercise. My stomach is in bad shape though from the chips I think.
I have started the day off right, with a breakfast of 25 almonds (3 carbs) and a coffee with cream (2-3 carbs). Lunch was a salad with full fat ranch dressing (2 carbs+ carbs from veggies; threw out the croutons). Dinner will be at an Ethiopian restaurant where I plan to skip their injera bread and just have a light veggie curry or their lowest carb option. Workout is scheduled for later, after coming home. Will update after.
UPDATE Evening snack: leftover veggie stir fry with tofu (2-3 carbs?) Dinner: 1 cup lentil soup, 1 cup lentil salad, 1 stuffed pepper (with peppers and spices), and 3 pieces of focaccia bread!!! (there goes my carb-control up in smoke!). Our dinner party was over 30 ppl and the restaurant took over 2 hrs to serve us!! Hence, by the time my meal arrived, I couldn't help but devour the bread!! Didn't have much of the injera bread tho (still dont like it much!)
Post-dinner: Came home and worked out per my new promise. 30 mins or so on elliptical, and 20 mins on the bike..not too energetic, but it's a start.
