Considering that my workouts have been spotty at best this past week, I will happily take the maintaining. Additionally, this is the lowest weight I've been since May of 2015. Based on the guidelines I was able to find online (see below), this is also the first time that I would qualify based on height, weight and age to enter any of the branches of the military, as I fall into the following for their highest weight allowances being a 33 year old, 5'8" female:
Army - 168 Navy - 170 Marines - 171 Air Force - 180
I'm also starting to recognize a bout of depression kicking in, which is not only okay, but rather expected based on seasonal depression, genetics, and this whole ridiculous dumpster fire that is 2020. To be honest, I'm actually somewhat pleased with myself that I've gotten to the point of recognizing it coming on -- ten years ago, I'd have a crying jag for (what I thought was) "no reason". Being able to sit back and take inventory of all the things that we tend to overlook as minor stressors has been a huge help.
So bring it, depression. I see you creeping around and I'm prepared to tackle you head on.
