I’m a bit disappointed and on the verge of giving up. I do an hour workout everyday and eat sub 1600 calories per day and in a week and a day I’ve only lost 1 kg. I know muscle weighs more than fat but did I think there would be a slightly bigger difference.

At your weight 1600 calories a day should drop you just over 1kg a week. So actually you doing alright. It always takes a couple of months to get rid of the weight. I am on 5kg in just over a month. In terms of exercise, unless its cardio and you pushing for 30 minutes or more then don't expect it to burn a lot of energy. Just keep at it.

Hi James, I am currently doing the Chloe Ting 10 minute HIIT, with the full body no jumping workout ( 13 minutes), her leg 2 week shred and standing abs ( this all takes about an hour and 10 minutes) everyday and have actually dropped my calorie intake to 1400 :((( but still nothing soo I will just have to keep at it and hope for the best. Thank you for the input though I do appreciate it❤️ Congrats on your progress!!

At 1400kcal in week two and three it will be rough, but it will get easier from there just keep at it. After a month it will be easy and you will see decent progress. weigh in every morning after waking up and going to the bathroom, its a stable weight, weighing during the day or at night gives too many fluctuations from water intake.

Thanks so much for the help! I will take that into account. I never actually thought about weighing in the morning cause I usually do my workouts at about 15:00-16:00 after my uni classes and sports.
