I have the same problem but, unless you have high blood pressure or a history of it in the family, I wouldn't worry too much about it. You have made fantastic progress, keep it up!

There is also a low sodium salt out too, that is 1/2 of the sodium in regular salt, but you still get some sodium that your body needs. My family uses that and my son hasn't even noticed the change, it's in the salt shaker and he's not said one word about it yet. :)

Thanks all for the support and suggestions! I know I shouldn't kvetch about this - I have no medical issues to worry about - but I really REALLY want to achieve my goal weight and I seem to be stuck! I'll try the salt alternative and low sodium options and see if that helps... \Thanks!

I'm the same way. I love Asian food, but the sodium gets me everytime. I'm sure to have puffy hands and feet the next day. Keep us posted if you find something you like!

I find that it's the carbs combined with the salt that make me retain much worse than salt alone. Have you found that?

I - too - have a salt tooth instead of a sweet tooth. My "poison" was once salted butter! Salt and fat together. Then put the salted butter on a pasty dinner roll. Look out! Danger! Danger! Bethru is correct about the carb-salt connection with regard to weight and-or water retention.

Let's see I have a salt tooth, sweet tooth, protein tooth, carb tooth, fat tooth....oh yeah I am not a big alcohol fan. Whew..I knew there must be something. Seriously the ideas here are great and you have made really great progress.
