I'm in Transition on Optavia, from 5-1 Weight Loss mode to ongoing Maintenance mode. Transition has 4 phases of 2 or more weeks each, and I'm in phase 3.
1 - add cup veggies
2 - add cup fruit
3 - add cup dairy
4 - add 1/2 cup grain + 4-6 oz lean protein
Optavia Phase One was Weight Loss and I feel like that was a miracle, losing 37 lbs, and being my lowest weight since my 20s.
Now I am focusing on Movement/Exercise + looking ahead to the installation of other habits that will bring about my Optimal Life. In the areas of House, in the areas of Writing/Work.
I overdid the Exercise last week, and had a counter-reaction where I wanted to take a break from the gym. That was okay, and I respected and learned from it. But now I'm back stronger than ever.
Monday - Zumba at gym
Tue - Zumba in the park
Wed - Zumba at the gym
Thu - line dance class got cancelled - but I had practiced a lot for it.
The beginning of my week is strong, then Fri to Sun I fall off, so I am thinking about that. Also thinking about Movement all day.
Also a goal: read more Optavia materials and listen to community talks.
