This weight is just a guess since we are still in south Texas without access to scales. But I know I have gained because of the way my clothes are fitting. The authentic Tex Mex food is just to darn good! I've tried to use portion control and it works at mealtime, but I have indulged with snacking on nuts and crackers way too much. The crackers are Nut Thins which is better than chips, but I have treated myself to way too many. We leave in 4 days to head back home and I will have to face the music. Hope I haven't done as much damage as I'm afraid I have. I haven't replenished the mixed nuts so that temptation is gone. THe weather hasn't been as good as usual down here so I haven't done as much walking on the beach as I had hoped to, so that has been a contributing factor as well. Sitting and watching the surf doesn't burn those calories that walking in the surf does. I am hating to see our time here come to an end.
