I really hate to record a gain, but I have to be honest with myself. A gain staring me in the face will hopefully just motivate me to do better. Although I didn't eat all the Easter candy in one sitting, I've been having a little each day, so I'm sure that's what's killing my weight loss. And I need to drink more water. Here's hoping I do better this week...
On a positive note, I got SO much accomplished this weekend. My husband and I cleaned out our basement! It wasn't quite an episode of "Hoarding - Buried Alive" yet but it wasn't far from it! Almost 2 years ago, when we were pregnant with our daughter, our spare room had to be turned into the baby's room. So, everything that had been in the spare room just kinda got dumped in the basement, and there it has sat. It has also collected more junk over the past couple years... It was so bad that there was only a small, winding path to the circuit box, and that was about it. SO - this past weekend, we cleaned it all out! We took two truck loads to the dump. What's left is currently sitting organized, priced and ready for a yard sale this coming Saturday. So once that's out of there, I'm going to clean it well, and it will become our exercise room! We have weights, a chin up bar, a bike and an elliptical. Definitely a good start. Hopefully it'll help me get in some extra exercise. But if for nothing else, I feel so free and unburdened to have that mess gone. :) And it's amazing the things I found that I've been looking for since we moved in 4 years ago! LOL
